Coffee Table Chest w/ Hand-Etched Floral Design

The carving and finish on this chest is very nice, but I had to fix the lid. Fortunately I had someone who could do this, and it didn't cost me. After fixing the lid I am very pleased with the chest. I use it in my sun room for my little yorkie's outside things. It is a beautiful piece of artwork and I am sure will last a long time. As a coffee table, I would not recommend it.

When my husband and I ordered this item, we were under the impression that it was the size of a coffee table. That was the reason we ordered it. It's a beutiful chest with amazing workmanship, but not what we had anticipated in terms of size. I would only recommend this product to someone if they were looking specifically for something like a hope chest.

I fell in love with this chest. I see as an heirloom for my family. I sits in my bedroom.

It's a great value. Looks exactly like in the picture, except that the color is darker. I would have wanted it wider instead of taller. Otherwise, it's a really nice chest.

I was very disappointed with this chest. The workmanship was very poor- lid very crooked, bottom trim not lined up well and pulled away from sides, no sealant coat just stain. The bottom trim was different from what was pictured and the chest smelled bad. There was no assembly required, but you would have to do some work to make it presentable. I would definitly not recommend this chest. I am, however, very happy with the way I was treated by overstock when I called to initiate the return.
