Parachute Silk Nylon Double Hammock

Perfect for my patio and exactly what I was looking for.

This is my second parachute hammock, I loved the first one, though it only lasted 3 years; bottom ripped out on my husband (average sized guy). These hammocks are comfy, cool and a good size, but must be kept out of the weather when not in use!

I bought this hammock about four months ago and I am caught lounging in it quite often. I hung this on our outdoor porch between two beams and I have to say it was quite easy. I used rope tied on the top beams and just hung the hammock on the two roped ends and it works great! I have a very low railing around my deck so I'm able to use it as a shelf for my drinks and book and also to swing myself...how relaxing is that. I have also left this hammock hanging all summer long and it looks like it did the first day I hung it.I will say that it's best if it's not pulled to tight as when it's tight (meaning stretched out so that the hammock does not hang losely) you will find it encapsulates you so you will feel very claustrophic in it....found that out when we took it on a camping trip and hung it between two trees that were too far apart. If you hang it so that there's a nice "c" curve to it (making sure once in it you won't hit the ground) you will absolutely love it! Great for traveling as well so take it along on your camping trips. Awesome product and will be buying another one soon.

We have a second floor 'sleeping porch' that is small so a standard hammock was too big. I purchased this hammock for my daughter to use and she loves it. It was easy to hang, durable and lightweight. She has spent many an afternoon curled up with a book in this comfy hammock.

My husband told me not to get a hammock unless it had a hard wood bar across it.... but I took a chance on this and am glad I did. We have two hammocks and my kids choose this one everytime. It is spacious and comfortable and durable... easy to put up between two trees and inexpensive compared to others. This easily transports too... also cleans up well if you accidentally leave it out.
