This was a good buy for our apt. in the city where it is difficult to shop around for reasonable prices. The lamp is good, but the switch is a little flimsy and the glass has this weathered, hazy look not pictured in the photos. Overall it serves its purpose very well.

This lamp is more than I expected. The shade is made of a very sturdy glass, and the whole lamp appears to be well built. It should last a long time. It was easy to put together, and looks great in my home office.

The floor lamp was easy to install. It looks great and the opague glass covering softens the light. At the same time, it lights up the room nicely. The craftsmanship is excellent because the lamp is sturdy. The lamp uses regular light bulb or energy saving light bulb. It was a great value.
